BANT — Horror struck a village here Sunday as a giant Jund ambush beetle ran into town and attacked in what villagers said was the exact opposite of an ambush, killing one person.

Observers said that the beetle appeared out of the maelstrom in the distance, ran across a local battlefield and singled out local blacksmith Jorgar Gundarsson early Sunday.

“We saw this thing in the distance, and we were like, ‘What the hell is that thing,’ and we watched it as it ran all the way across the plain there and all the way into town. And we were like, ‘Hey, maybe we should like try to lie in wait somewhere quietly and then ambush it or something. You know, because it’s running across the battlefield and attacking us,” said a local fisherman.

However, the giant ambush beetle entered the town unimpeded, set after Gundarsson, attacked him and killed him, witnesses said.

“It was as if the giant ambush beetle, in a mockery of nomenclature, word usage and battle strategy, refused to play by the traditional conventions of intruder and ambusher,” said Fizznab, a visiting wizard.

What about when you play the Beetle and attack with something else that has to block? A strange situation must occur.
