Weaver Of Lies Pioneers Entirely New Level Of Sarcasm

APHETTO — Weaver of Lies, the magical Otarian creature who closely follows Magic: The Gathering and current events, researched and developed an entirely new and never-before-reached level of sarcasm Saturday as it spoke about the possiblity of Mike Long being put into the Magic Pro Tour Hall of Fame.

“What a ‘goooooood idea,’” Weaver of Lies said as it made “quote marks” in the air with its hands, which crackled with sarcastic energy.

“That would be just ‘briiiiiiiilliant,’” it said, gesturing wildly. “He ’soooooo deserrrrrves’ a place in the ‘Hall of Faaaaaame,’” it said, “because he’s just ’sooooooo interesting’ and has ‘done sooooo muuuuuch’ for the game.”

Other magical creatures were quick to pick up on the new style and level of sarcasm, which threatened to quickly turn it into a fad.

“Me ’soooooooo surrrrrrrre’ Mike Long ‘deserrrve’ place in hall,” a goblin goon said Saturday, also making “quote marks” in the air with its hands. “Him ’soooooo pivotal’ and him such ‘gooooood ambassador.’” it said.

“Rargh rar ‘raarrrrrrrgh raarrrrrrrgh,’” said one zombie brute Saturday, making “quote marks” in the air with its hands.
