DOMINARIA — Members of the press are reporting that local villagers simply don’t care about a goblin trapped in a runaway balloon in the skies here Sunday.
Reporters told The Magic Lampoon that they’ve been trying to hype the story of the lost goblin all morning, but that people simply aren’t interested.
“I really don’t care if he dies,” said local resident Garvin Coppersmith.
The goblin is believed to have been playing in the balloon when it became untethered Sunday morning, suddenly launching the goblin high into the air. Numerous potential dangers to the goblin include high objects such as towers, freezing winds and the possibility of rising so high that there’s no air to breathe.
The goblin responded to these dangers by throwing objects from the balloon down at villagers.
Ironically, this move caused the balloon to rise even higher.
“Yeah, the little bastard’s probably a goner now. Oh well,” said local resident Alain Tannerson, who quickly returned to his work Sunday.
