DAYTON, Ohio — Recently we told you of Curtis Potts, 8, who was lucky enough to open a Johnny Baneslayer from a pack of vintage Topps baseball cards here at at Fischer’s Cards on Market Street.

Apparently, lightning strikes twice, because early Sunday morning, Curtis opened an older pack of Fleer baseball cards and pulled another rare gem, this time a James deMindsculptor.

“Mom! Mom! I got a James deMindsculptor!” an excited Curtis told onlookers Sunday.

This particular card is famous because of the words “Cheaty Face” written on the bat, unnoticed when the card was first printed. The unfortunate printing makes the card extremely valuable.

“Shut up and get out of my store,” said store owner Jeff Fischer.
